Calm - Limited Edition of 50 Artwork

Hello, my name is Mario Salvador Rivas, I also go by Marito302. I am a self taught artist that fell in love with color and shapes. As a professional chef I combine color and flavor so it was a natural fit for me to go into visual art. I’m a combat veteran with two tours of Iraq. While deployed I wrote and photographed my experiences that now influences my art. The memories good and bad have been my inspiration that I hope to portray in my art for the purpose of world peace. I do new media art, on iPad, which allows me to draw and make art each and every day without being in a studio. In short, my studio is the outdoors and life is my canvas where I move freely without limitations. My goal is to challenge the norms of art as we know it, but also make art that shows emotion, imagination and history. In my art I attempt to find the essence and mysteries of creation.
