About The Artwork
"Fusion self-portrait" are works characterized by the layering of images, in which portions or entire faces of geniuses of our time, are fused with the creations of the same and reassembled into a unified image. The subjects represented in "Fusion self-portrait" depict contemporary "Famous People", by layering impure images, combinations obtained from the fusion of colors, signs and handwriting, performed with the immediacy of improbable and intuitive spontaneous gestures done "by the hands of 'artist himself " or by track etched of its creation, marking so surreal the authenticity of its self-portrait. The works are unique pieces of great size, made on canvas with mixed media, ink jet and wax spatula; the technique used for this type of works is based on the generation of images obtained from a detailed digital processing and steps taken with traditional techniques.

My stage name is Lauqsap, I was born in Venice (Italy), the art takes me forever and is an integral part of my life and so many were the masters who influence my artistic career. In my training are placed different languages and expressive techniques including new technologies. Using the digital post-production such as painting to get some sort of fusion and contamination that is last in the performative act. Use as an extension language special digital techniques, achieving the visual short circuits where my subjects are filtered by masks, metaphysical compositions, still figures suspended in an uncertain equilibrium. I turned my attention to a new form of portraiture, prepared meticulously with the new digital techniques that can synthesize an image in a series of sensations and visions, a new research primarily designed to contrast the size of the object-subject within 'artistic work.
