Elysium, 2021, edition of 5 -- from our "Love, Death" solo show at Modern Eden in October, 2021. Inspired by hedonistic statuaries of ancient civilizations lost to rising seas and ill-fated shipwrecks. Our relics, lifted from the metaphoric depths, examine the delicate marriage of sensual pleasure and the dark kiss of death while exploring humanities purest pursuit; the bliss state found at the convergence of sexual delight and the shadowy reaches of mortality. They pay tribute to the elusive state of ultimate nirvana, and the apex moment in the arousing dance of orgasmic mortality. Printed on acid free fine art paper with archival pigments. Limited Edition prints are hand signed, numbered, and come with a certificate of authenticity. The 24x36 size of this work is an edition of 5 with 1 AP.

Ransom & Mitchell is a still + motion creative team in San Francisco featuring the combined talents of director - photographer Jason Mitchell and set designer - digital artist Stacey Ransom.
