I created this artwork in Mars 2018, one year after moving to Sweden. I had some friends and felt at home, that is why this boat has roped attached to the frame, it is not alone, floating in color anymore.
This artwork took 22hours to complete, between the first, second line drawing, then it was then scanned and photoshopped to be able to zoom in, make the lines even more perfect, and to add the color. Each color is unique, custom colors upon request, just ask, and other Stockholm Steamboats are available as well (Norrskär, Storskär, and Västan)

The vessel's home port is in front of Stockholm Castle, it was built in 1911. S / S Blidösund is one of the few steam vessels in Sweden and the only one in the archipelago of Stockholm where the steam boiler is still boiled with coal and is in commercial operation.

She is mainly used for music tours with so-called "steamboat music". During the summer, full day excursions including lunch and dinner reservations on board in the two dining rooms are also organized to different groups in the outer parts of the Stockholm archipelago, called "expeditions to the sea belt". Every weekend in the middle of June, S / S Blidösund commits its original route, on Friday afternoon from Stockholm and up via Blidösundet to Norrtälje, where the vessel stays overnight, returning to Stockholm on Sunday afternoon. To Norrtälje and back, the ship connects 19 different docks, some of which make up original ferry docks for steamers in the early 1900s.
