About The Artwork

This original artwork is part of a personal artistic project called "Visioni da un Universo Sconosciuto" (Visions from an Unknown Universe). The concept idea on this image was to find a place, where to put the big spaceship just finished years ago... then I found in economically growing India, the right place where in an hypothetical future, cargo ships will land. Next I worked adding details + details during the last years. I'm not sure the finished result is this, you know, is very complicated define finished some of our works, and always we wanna add more details and complexity... but I supposed, that by now, this is finished. The work was started in blender software, then continued in sketchup. Rendered in Thea Render then retouched in Photoshop. All that work took years before arriving to this result. Colors are fictional because I don't feel good using 3D for create too realistic images. The philosophy behind this image is a dystopic future where our society grow out of human scale. Many other fictional images would be developed in the next years and shown in galleries as for this image. Hope you like my work and thanks for reading.

Art Project: VISIONS FROM AN UNKNOWN UNIVERSE What is it about? Visions from an Unknown Universe is a large personal artistic project. This project was created in Brussels in 2012, and will continue to grow in the years to come. How was this project born? The move to the Belgian capital in 2012 marks the beginning of interest in new forms of artistic expression, such as digital painting and 3D graphics, also following deepening the study of these new creative media increasingly demanded in professional fields. Like this, the idea of creating a workplace, a new world made of fantasy images, but solid from a structural and physical point of view, was born. The images are of possible and at the same time unnatural worlds, which contain to independent narrative threads. In fact, these images want to tell a story, but the narrative element contained in it is subjective. The observer is the protagonist of the interpretation of the tale in each work. Certainly the author of the works has its version of the story told, but it is not said to be true! What are the founding themes of the project? At the base of the choices of each subject, there was a lot of deep personal research and work. To begin with, there is a dystopic vision of the future of our society, understood as a warning to avoid making such mistakes, which could make reality the scenarios represented in the different "visions". There are a range of recurring themes including climate change, atmospheric pollution, migration, and the collapse of the global economic system in these kinds of "parallel universes".
