HappyTottii Bridges Connect Yellow
Born in Vienna, Doris Taussig currently lives and works in Madeira/Portugal. She is the creator of the popular emoticon-inspired character HappyTottii, who features in numerous love-themed pieces. Taussig's practice combines computer graphic techniques with elements from nature, giving artworks a daydream-like quality in today's digital culture.
At home all over the world and therefore well-known everywhere, the ladybug is the appropriate motive to convey feelings such as love and happiness. Doris Taussig is a big concern in short form expressing as much as possible lucky but even sad motifs too.
Can the viewer identify with the Motif or is it simply a message to be delivered?
This is to find out! Although the pictures do not give up any puzzles. Our everyday life, epoch is down here.

About The Artwork

Enter in the world of dreams with star gazing! Taussig was sitting at night outside often and tried to find out which star is shining most clear and beautiful. Many inspirations and memories of the past came along when she was a young woman, sitting outside in the same way as today. This was the inspiration for this picture. HappyTottii is rare, unique, collectible! Doris Taussig born in Vienna/Austria, has 2 daughters. Since divorce she was a nomad in her life, living in different countries and invented during this time HappyTottii – the emoji focused on love and happiness in 2016 when she lived in Bucharest. In the end she got a digital nomad on Cyprus at the moment. With 73 years she is one of the oldest digital artists worldwide. This is very special. She gets her inspiration from the daily observation of individuals and her own experiences. So everybody can find himself on one of over 1500+ emoji, and she is planning to expand to 3000 and more computer hand drawn with Adobe Illustrator. Believe her when she says – it’s a lot of work! Also you find other pictures with limitted editions and when you combine with another picture, you can do your own story! Every image is drawn with Adobe Illustrator and processed manually after printing. Colors do not look total the same like they are in nature. Background colours stands for: pink = love and happiness, green = nature and environment, yellow = sun power, blue = endless freedem (ocean, sky)
