About The Artwork

Heidelbergensis is part of the PreHuman series, inspired by Hominid skulls photographies. Homo Heidelbergensis is considered today as the direct ancestor of anatomically modern humans. In reference to the Kabwe skull fossil found in 1921 at Broken Hill, Kabwe, Zambia (300 000-125 000 years), this work represents knowledge evolution and question about our origin and our identity, where we come from and who we are.
