Innerkiss - Limited Edition of 10 Artwork

A woman's lips, (Taylor Momsen's). It's a celebration of the Beech, summer, swimming, sunbathing, and sensuality. The "beech" is the "sandscape" between the subject's lips. I wanted to do something "fun and carefree" The nature of the universe is holographic -and contains worlds within a world, and there is always another which echoes existence on the "higher" plane. I wanted to create something sensual and feminine, more "joy" than "journey". A celebration of a holiday on a beautiful afternoon at the beach. Which is perhaps "frivolous", (but what would life be without joy? A bus-stop between buses! ~a vacation is a form of freedom, and surely worth celebrating as the subject of "serious art"...) I also wanted to try to use new color combinations that I hadn't used before. I have some "dark" and "serious" work, so this is a deliberate attempt to provide some balance to my portfolio with something that is light and life-affirming. I also feel that these pastel colors are not often used in fine art so I feel that it is pushing the envelope in that sense. The colors used are CG Red, Cerise, Champagne, Salmon Pink, Cyan, Cyclamen, Cyber Grape, French Pink, French mauve, Flax, Deep Sky Blue, Corn, Candy Pink, Byzantine and Byzantium, Blue Violet, and Blue Violet Crayola. The top lip looks like a woman stretching as she is relined (with her head to the right top of the image, and her top lip forming her chest hips and (slightly bent legs). On the4 bottom lip (to the left I can see two "people on a beach" I love the random noise elements and the chaotic color palette, all of which illustrate the carefree summer beach vibe of the piece while keeping it unique.
