The career landscape in music and arts has shifted radically in the last decade, and companies are searching for innovative graduates who can navigate new challenges. A creative education seems uniquely suited to equipping students for these times. And yet employers seem hesitant to hire, colleges slow to react to rapidly changing industries and the students themselves have trouble seeing themselves in careers less directly related to their fields.
