Kinesina - Limited Edition of 5 Artwork

From the experience of the process and manipulation of different materials, I managed to understand the work as a flexible framework; due to the phases of transformation. The decision to use industrial materials is due to its properties of flexibility and malleability which allowed me to experiment infinitely, continuously creating various unpredictable effects. Motivated by the mechanics of the function of everyday objects and materials these pieces are transformed in unexpected ways. Through the process of trial and error, the end result is always a surprise. Incorporating lights, sound and images and the interaction of the environment with random movements activate and bring the works to life. The construction of the pieces is the result of the process of experimenting with the material. By using materials and objects with a historical background I reinterpret them creating sculptures and paintings. Combining recycled old items with new technological methods creates new and repurposed aesthetic pieces to experience anew.
