Hand Cut Paper Stencil, spray paint and textured paper set in a box frame that gives a 3 dimensional feeling. The stencil is mounted on a thin wooden frame to give support and add strength. The stencil paper is 140 lb. cold press. The background paper is a mixture of acrylic and spray paint to give a sense of depth and texture. The stencil image is comprised of thick and thin lines that give the appearance of light and dark tones. When you first look at stencil up close, you only see various abstract lines until your eyes have time to adjust. The further away that you move from the art, the more it starts to take on a photorealistic appearance. Looking at the artwork through your cell phone or tablet will also give you different results. It almost feels like it's interactive when in actuality it's just cut paper.
