This is a darker piece... intended to be an allegory about death, specifically the self-inflicted kind. It's an illustration of the climate that person might be feeling. A contrast between lightness and darkness, hope and gloom, resilience and failure, possibilities and inevitabilities. A representation of how that person might view their worth... simply as a weed or a pest. But to other people it has some meaning. It provides wishes in the spring. It's resilient. Since the Dandelion can thrive in difficult conditions, it is no wonder that people say the flower symbolizes the ability to rise above life's challenges. This subject is an oxymoron... a battle between resilience and re-silence.
