About The Artwork

This artwork Soft, expresses the inner contemplations of oneself. The soft, squishy parts not everyone gets to see. Talking about mental health has only just become more accepted and manageable, but there are still barriers. Like this soft amalgamation of matter, it can feel like the pressure builds up into a larger cumulation, which emerges until, finally, the strength that was once there is depleted. This piece is constructed of handmade fabric forms produced with custom print fabric that depicts finger-knitted yarn. All of these processes bring comfort and solace in a space that can often be demanding.
