I was born in Isola del Liri, Italy on 06/22/1955, I live and work in Isola del Liri. I am defined as an eclectic personality with multiple interests, very often apparently not convergent. Images, drawing and colors are threads that unite all periods of my life. I started with figurative drawings, using graphite, sanguine or charcoal, but time fades the interest in figurative drawing. Almost unconsciously I began to "create" images with colors and shapes different from reality but not completely unreal. My works, with the passage of time, have become visions that continuously intertwine objects and spaces, therefore not abstract representations but unconscious memories that re-emerge every time I face a table. Shapes and colors assembled in a present but that have their roots in a stratified experience and currently cut into cross-sections. I use almost all techniques but I mainly work with oil pastels on wooden boards with various mixtures of materials. My research is increasingly based on a form of drawing adapted to the explosive strength and versatility of color. I use photography or traces on paper, very often as a simple notebook I use computer graphics, a demanding but very powerful virtual technique. My elaborations are the result of studies and assemblies, they are sets often traced on paper sketches or photographs. Shapes, signs and colors, like musical notes, chords and resonances that I then transfer onto the board (musical score) using oil pastels, acrylic, soft pastels, graphite etc., working with my fingers, and other tools, waiting for and respecting the light, especially the sun (my Orchestra Conductor). I don't think I have my own particular "style", I'm not very interested in belonging, each of my tables is relatively different from the others, as are different and anarchic the days, the years and in general the time that marks all the moments of our life. I try not to give in to sensationalism, the final result of my work is made up of simple and classic materials such as wood and pastels, "analogical" elements in a digital world that I nevertheless use in an instrumental way.
