About The Artwork

Jesus, crying in Blood on the Cross. He cries for us, not for Himself. More accurately, He cries for those of us - them - who will never accept Him. He cries for those of us who came to Him, before we did and every time we stumble. He cries for what we needlessly suffer in this life because of our choices and actions. But that is temporal, and every tear, He will wipe away. So the scriptures state. Except the unrepentant; they refuse His Tender Mercies. He cries because their tears will be forever. He cries not because He felt their pain for naught, the consequences of their sin. It was not for naught; it was for Love. He cries because He has felt momentarily the consequences of their sins, when He offered the payment of their price for eternity. But even then He knew past, present, and future, those who would never accept Him and would suffer in their spirits and in their resurrected bodies the consequences of their sins, forever. The consequence of their sins that He felt momentarily, but that they will feel for eternity. He cries for that, not for Himself. I have often thought about the billions of us, throughout the ages, crying for Christ to wipe our tears. Should we not ask "Who's going to wipe the tears of Jesus?" That fact is we do, by every kind act we do for a friend, loved one, or stranger, by every tear we wipe. Or we don't, we leave the tears streaking His Face, by every opportunity neglected. For Christ Himself has told us, If we do this for His "little ones", a term of endearment for all humanity He so Loves, we have done it unto Him.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

I am a multi-disciplinary artist working in painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, and installations with past performance art. I am currently working on a calendar art book of 365 sunset photos, one taken each day for a year, for a art book to debut in 2021: Scrolling the Sky: Watching the Earth Roll 365 Sunsets from a Year in Solitary Refinement. You can view a month of January sunsets taken this year on my Facebook Artist's Page. The rest will not be shown until 2021. I am also working on a book called God's Sketchbook, which showcases satellite images of the earth, showing fantastic creatures and forms, "drawn" by God on the surface of the earth. Also in planning stages are 15 Stations of the Cross, a unique installation of the imprints of Christ into which viewers can place themselves and see things unseen unless participating, such as their reflection on a cross, in an incredible painted desert location, the developing site of the Angels' Atelier Retreat in the petrified forest area of Arizona. There also, will be created several installations including Dry Bones Singing, an outdoor cathedral like space in a hidden natural amphitheater composed of bone like pit fired clay from site wind chimes and bone white branch wind chimes, referencing Ezekiel 37.
