This image calls up maps of long ago with unknown places. This is my new road from the surreal to these more recent metaphysical abstracts. They are very much about color, light, and space.

In 2019, I started to develop computer ideas which I could translate into paintings on silk. The silk paintings themselves are labor intensive but I enjoy tremendously learning new techniques and the producing something beautiful to the eye and touch. While working on these beautiful computer ideas, I decided that they too could adorn someone’s wall. My abstracts, whether computer art or earlier watercolors, are usually based on the familiar. It could evoke the environment or just a feeling.
