This work was inspired by a childhood dream of flying over the landscape at night. Fast forward years later, and an altimeter from a plane brought it all back! Acrylic paint skins made great wings to go with the road reflector goggles.

My artwork is my running commentary of my day to day life. My paintings are built around a conceptual figure that is expressed with color and expressive lines or brushstrokes. That figure tells the story of what I'm thinking about, what I overhear or what I've seen. This storyline becomes my starting point of what I want to say in my painting. I would like for someone to look at them and say " That's part of my own story. I see myself!" When that happens, the connection is magical!
