Paintings from the born series were inspired by the processes of nature, like spreading, growing, changing in time and fitting to unpleasant circumstances. Plants have the ability to maximize their growth with minimum resources, trough repeating a simple pattern in order to build a complex structure. Rather than humans working on make their surrounding more minimal, the plants are using complexity, their own kind of organized chaos, to give experience of harmony, healing and calmness. All paintings were made in one ‚growing’ line, in a repeatable, rhythmic and self-organizing process.
