Der Dachauer Künstler Richard Wurm (*1971) hat sich schon in der Schule mit dem Fach Kunst intensiv beschäftigt. Er belegte 1989 einen Kurs bei Prof. Dieter Rehm (heute Präsident der AdbK). Während seines erfolgreichen Studiums an der Technischen Universität München und seiner Karriere als Bauingenieur, hat er die Kunst nicht ganz aus den Augen verloren. 2012 begann er professionell mit der Malerei. Das Gesamtwerk von Richard Wurm umfasst seit Beginn seiner Schaffenszeit mehrere 100 Werke. Seine malerische Entwicklung begann Richard Wurm mit figürlichen 30x30 cm Werken durch Auftragen und Abschleifen von Wachs, Acryl und Dispersionsfarbe.

The Dachau artist Richard Wurm was already busy with painting at school. He took a course with Prof. Dieter Rehm. He also devoted himself to his passion during his successful studies at the Technical University of Munich and his career as a civil engineer. Since 2012, he has been intensively involved with artistic activity.
