ARTIST STATEMENT I was born, live, and work in Belarus. My journey as an artist began at the age of 38. I predominantly create abstract works, using oil on canvas, hardboard, or in installations. Each of my pieces serves as a therapeutic practice in dealing with the environment. I feel the need to paint and I work intuitively. Despite the occasional sombre tone of my works, I strive to find a balance between shattered hopes and spiritual renewal. BIOGRAPHY Lora Pavlova was born in 1979 in Belarus.
