About The Artwork
This painting is at a tangent to my desire to paint waves from the electro-magnetic spectrum (light waves for instance) or at least to paint metaphors for such waves. I started by creating wave paintings which were completely abstract (see on this site) but now I am trying to include figurative elements.Included here is a nod towards the structure of Van Gogh's 'starry night' painting/s and he is wearing wooden French 'sabots' or clogs..
