ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting is inspired by global warming and climate change, and the notion that everything is transient, even the most apparently solid gigantic objects. The iceberg is also a metaphor for extinction. I want the viewer to feel awe and also trepidation that such colossal objects can disappear. I am influenced by the style of Cezanne.
