Painting: ink, coffee, paper board, turquoise, lapis lazuli on Paper.
In this painting I attempted to challenge the limitations we face when trying to communicate our experience of the world around us to others. Our focal points, our experience of volumetric order, can be changed and flattened through the confines of direct representation. This painting represents the experience of colour and largeness of one evening walking home. It also references a number of classical myths of the world being created through the mingling of the sky and the earth.
