ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting was inspired by a visit to the Marinette County, Wisconsin during the Fall, my favorite season of the year. I came across this picturesque location on a hiking trail and knew at that moment that I have to paint it. The blue water of the tiny stream winding through the forest, the water shining like a million pieces of diamond, flanked by the brightly colored autumn foliage sparkling in the afternoon sun gave the place a surreal beauty. I wanted to freeze that moment in time, capturing it on canvas. This is an original oil painting on canvas panel. It comes signed at the front bottom corner. Unframed painting size: 16x20 in.
