This artwork is inspired by the blast in Beyrouth on the 4th of august 2020.
A lot of people were killed and injured, then after a while started dreaming in the city...
about love between the people.
Remembering time when movie stars where invited to this city.
The portraits are inspired by Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton...photos
the claustra looks like something in the buildings of my dad.
The flowers on the right, shaped by tears are created by me,expressing sadness...
The florals on the left, shows blood and injuries turned into
beautiful red flowers and mixed with ceders green branches.
After the blast love and passion cross again the city, hoping for better days.

I am born in Beyrouth,Lebanon, the 10 th of july 1958,my father was an architect and i lived in a family sensitive to art and creation. In1976,i moved to Paris,France because of the civil war . Of course my parents stayed there in the war,as they built an architecture agency in Beyrouth; then my father died...I was seventeen. I am an artist,i paint and design since a long time . I studied at les ateliers Guillaume Met de Penninghen et Jacques Dandon,as a graphic artist, and i was graduate in 1980. I studied also at the Beaux Arts school in Paris.,anatomy of the body. In 1982 ,i met a lot of interresting people in Paris, very famous artists,designers,critics... 80's were very exciting!it was years of more prosperity and freedom , in all the ways !!it was also very lively and full of beautiful events. I realy loved the life style,i was attracted by art exhibitions paintings and photography, fashion shows,nightlife...and everything the fantastic city could offer... I started to do some fashion illustration in magazines, and to paint with oil on canvasses" people and parties"!! I was surounded by artists ,some remain very good friends until today!! It was also a time in art where the european" transavangarde "and the"figuration libre"were trendy. I was drawing by free hand all sort of things...and find a lot of fans and costumers too... I started to be successfull and well known in the 90's. I became a french citizen in 2000...and since1976, still live and work in Paris,France. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED TO THE ARTIST COPYRIGHT ADAGP
