A la Sombra de mi Seguridad Painting

A self-taught and well-traveled plastic artist, whose story and training have taken him to learn in many international settings. He took painting lessons in Madrid, at the La Esmeralda workshop, the Círculo de Bellas Artes and the Solana Studio. Xavier sat in Plastic arts workshops at the Centre d’Estudis d’Art I Artterapia in Barcelona and was personally mentored by great masters like Alfredo Castañeda and Fernando Pereznieto. His work has been frequently exhibited in Mexico City, New York, Miami and Barcelona, and appeared in several national publications, like Newsweek, and American Express’ Expressions. He is currently part of the Jarritos’ “Mezclando Tradiciones” project.
