I have studied painting at Academy of Fine Art Vienna under the world known german painter Daniel Richter. I have been accepted at 4 different art academies, including Art Academy Düsseldorf under Peter Doig. The topics I work with include existential dilemmas, the past, familiy bonds, relationships between people, religion, myths, love, loss, hope and dreams. I work in both new and old media including oil and acrylic on fabric, canvas, carpets, wood, frames, graphics, drawing, Photoshop and anything that one way or another can help to express the pictures and emotions I have in my head. The purpose with my works is that they should be able to be relevant to and influence people on a deeper existential level. If one way or another my works can help others and make people feel things they otherwise wouldn't have I have reached my goal with my art. My wish is that others than myself can enjoy my works. I wish my works will endure time and be appreciated for many generations. I also want the works to have a history and value built in that may be relevant over the years. My painting are memories of people I have known and places I have visited. I wanted to explore and express the emotions that for me were connected to these people and places and how these bonds to people and places were both beautiful and strong, with all their complexity. I tried to express the love for people I have met and places I visited.
