ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My pieces start from dream images that repeat themselves. The process begins with the dream world and its metaphorical use of language and images. This particular image and the ones related to this appeared over and over in my dreams. These houses falling into water give life to the process of rebirth and cleansing. Sometimes the place that held you together in the past, no longer works for the future. Sometimes what gave support and grounding gave way. This is the moment of letting go.
