"Whising Trees" and "1001 wishes" series follow each other. I was always impressed by the structure of wish trees. They are colorful, visually cheerful, hopeful and meant for good, magical, and the result of a mutual belief. I intended to draw attention on the visual, anonymous and good nature of wishing trees. These trees are collectively constructed cultural symbols. This is why I collect and use a lot of natural materials and textile to form my artwork

I create a whole by using different materials and textures in my work. Every object in nature has its own unique texture. As a medical doctor, I spent a lot of time under the microscope, observing how amazing and extraordinarily beautiful textures these "things" have. I realized that each object is a unique universe. I want to add different textures to this wonderful world by using different materials in my work. It excites me that when different materials and textures come together, they create a brand new image that is much richer and stronger than they are on their own. This unique and rare combination of different textures symbolizes the uniqueness of all people and cultures. I keep local cultural motifs in mind when creating my work. I often draw my inspiration from ancient and benevolent symbols, talismans and rituals to visualize hope, goodwill and human desires. I use "stitching" in many of my works because the act of stitching has the ability to bring together and integrate parts. I think this feeds the conceptual discourse in my works. As a medical doctor and artist, I have observed in many fields the desire of human beings to solve natural phenomena and problems that they cannot cope with with objects that they believe have "magical" powers. I think medicine and art are the two fields that contain the most hope. The paths of science and art intersect with magic.
