AMAZONAS Painting

Roberta Rocca was born in Milan in 1946. From 1948 to 1976 she lived in Argentina where she had her artistic educations. She attended the Fine Arts Academy in Buenos Aires, the Art and Visual Communication Academy at the University of La Plata, where she specialized in mural painting, and the Faculty of Art in Santiago de Chile at the Material Research Laboratory. She has worked with Luis Filipe Noé and Leo Vinci in Buenos Aires. She lives and works in Fiorenzuola, in the province of Piacenza, Italy. She is now preparing several projects for exhibitions and creates artist books for some private-editions, such as Pulcinoelefante and Quaderni di Orfeo. Her work is included in the collections of the National Central Library of Florence and the John Cotton Dana Library, Rutgers University, Newark, New Jersey, M.I.M. Museum, San Pietro in Cerro
