ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I'm influenced most by artists of the early 20th century cubist and expressionist movement. Kandinsky, Klimt, Degas, Klee, Picasso, etc. as well as contemporary street artists. Why not intertwine them? The main thread in my work is strong layers of colour and expressive line work, and situational use of representational and abstract figures, motifs and shapes. My work responds to exotic landscape and cultural experiences.
