Russia
Ryan Valdem was born in 1989. He lives and works in the south of Russia in the small town of Pyatigorsk, which is located near Mount Elbrus - the highest mountain in Europe. When translated into English, "Pyatigorsk" means five mountains. This is a beautiful place with lots of lakes, waterfalls and forests. Ryan strives to ensure that the ideas embodied in his paintings push the boundaries of Modern Art. He puts the light and positive energy into each of his paintings. Ryan uses the best materials that the market can provide to create museum-quality paintings. He uses only high quality paints. Ryan is a full time professional artist with many years of experience. From early childhood he likes to paint, in this he found himself. One thing that makes him feel really cool as an artist is the connection that he shares with others through his paintings. In the end, art can be as personal to a viewer as it is to an artist. Having a penchant for creativity, Ryan entered the institute of design. In his studies, Ryan received classical foundations of academic painting, perspective and composition. After graduating from institute he didn't connect his life with design, but completely focused on creating his paintings. His main source of inspiration is music. Deep experience and talent in creating paintings allows him to create beautiful compositions and scenic relief. Each painting is an adventure that begins with the first thought and ends with the last brushstroke, and each movement creates life on a white canvas. It can be a play of light and shadow, some kind of silhouette. Everything else is just a frame that helps to emphasize the main theme. Ryan in his paintings gives a sense of light in every movement to convey the power of emotions. His favorite artists are Pollock, Andy Warhol, Picasso and many others. Ryan explored the techniques of the old masters and adapted their foundations to more modern and abstract ways. He works with acrylics and oils, his works are very strong, with a heavy texture. Ryan can focus on the little things, and he can achieve the overall composition of the painting with free movement, it depends on what he wants to achieve and how to influence the overall impression of the work itself. The connection between the artist and the viewer is created not only through his paintings but also through his story.
