About The Artwork
Kakhaber Tatishvili’s art begins from early childhood. After finishing the art college he graduates Academy of Arts, painting class. It’s a difficult period of freedom struggle which is depicted in his degree work (stored in the depository of the academy). Tatishvili’s art is diverse in themes and fulfillment. Generally it describes artists’ opinion and attitude to any object, occurrence, person or situation. Landscapes and abstract compositions are the results of artists’ distinct and authoring vision. The periods of Kakhaber’s creative work defer from each other. In spite of this, individuality and authoring vision are maintained. The artist prefers oil colours and canvas, however actively works on paper, tempera and acrylic.

1964 - I was born on 13 October 1980-84 - studied at Tbilisi I.Nikoladze College of Art 1986-92 - continued studying in Tbilisi Academy of Art, painting faculty. 1993 - started working at Tbilisi State Philarmonics as chief artist. I have decorated a lot of musical shows. At different times I have taken part in various exhibitions in Tbilisi: 1984 to 1991 Spring and Autumn Exhibitions, Gallery “Hobby”, Gallery “Cameo”, Gallery GTM “,(Solo Exhibition, 2008), Gallery “Rcheuli”, Gallery “Dinasty” Moscow 2009 “25 kadr-gallery”, London (gallery KALEIDOSCOPE 2007, 2008, 2009 Christmas Exhibition, Art in London 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010), Gallery “oc eo art” London, Glasgow Art Fair 2010, Glasgow Art Fair 2010, Art in Asia 2010 London, Edinburgh Art Fair, Gallery of Tbilisi Auction House”, (Personal Exhibition, 2010).
