Across the Wind Ⅳ Painting

MINSEOK KANG Korea Artist KangCar Who do I compete with. I am covering my story by using cars as the material. As another material creature, cars reflect the inner me, and the rival group competes with another me. The inner me is called a beast, and that beast is an existence with a thirst for desire and success. And I coexist with that beast. I tame and control that beast through numerous compromises and spout it as paint on the canvas. I spurt the temporal afterimage and invisible power as paint. At the same time, I dismantle the form of numerous energy fragments that shatter by clashing with air at an uncontrollable speed. Through the repetitive action of spilling and scattering, the figure of a car disappears and the only thing left is a single endless power. Before starting the work on the canvas, I perform an act of fulfilling the strength. Physical and mental strength are fulfilled by running or marathon. I then depict the figure of a car on the canvas. On top of that, I carry out the act of spouting my power on the canvas through a proper combination of acrylic paint. Such a technique expresses the invisible power by fusing the paint color with spraying force.
