ABOUT THE ARTWORK

My first plein air in adiatics was in Montenegro. One day I ended up in the city of Perast, for this I had to cross by boat from the opposite bank of the Bay of Kotor. I was amazed by the look and size of this small and still medieval town, the heir to Venetian architecture. It was the middle of the day, when life freezes from the heat, and even tourists could not stop breaking the sultry silence. The white walls of Perast shone like gems ringed with orange roofs. And white boats in the blue blue water scattered precious pearls further out to sea

Valery Khadeev is a very interesting Kiev artist. At first glance at his works it seems that they were written by a gray-haired master, who had passed through the harsh Soviet pictorial school. But, when you look deeper into his work, you see that the author is young and modern. What he did was the best, what his wonderful masters of art at the Lugansk Art School taught, went through their serious school and found a "road to themselves." Color and color Valery feels like the temperature of the air, like his own five fingers. He lives in this environment, among the lights and halftones, among the glare and the planes of draperies. A life-kettle, a faience cup and a dried lemon, forgotten by someone on the table, come to life on the Hadean canvas, flow with reflexes and play with chiaroscuro, so that you want to immediately have tea! This is what attracts viewers to Valery's works. "They want to watch for a long time!", "Here, in this still life, I could live!" - people say in the exhibition hall. Valery is a very delicate landscape painter. His sketchbook can appear anywhere in the world at the foot of the Crimean mountains, at the sea pier in Montenegro, on the bustling Kiev street, near the ancient cathedral. And the result is always staggering. It seems that it is not an artist, but you yourself smell the smell of magnolia, you catch salt spray and wave off annoying seagulls, you hear the bells of Mikhailovsky and St. Sophia's cathedrals. All this, because the artist does not invent anything, just puts the color in the right place on the canvas. The painting by Khadeev is from the word "life", alive and truthful. He writes, how he breathes, that's what's on it. Valery's works are adorned with private collections of people all over the world.
