About The Artwork
This was painted during pandemic isolation in 2020, and is an expression of the collective angst we were all feeling. It has a look of deep space, but also of the place visited between dreaming and worry during a night of insomnia. I used professional acrylic paint on canvas, and added found elements like fiber, and foil that give the painting texture. I also used metalic bronze paint. This canvas is wrapped and the edges painted so it can be hung without a frame.
