Alight at Nahlaot is an oil painting on canvas. One of the ancient and enchanting neighborhoods in Jerusalem is Nachlaot. On one of my joyful mornings, I found myself wandering through its narrow alleys, observing the charm of its ancient structures: arches, wells, roofs and windows looking at stones and vegetation And my eyes can't get enough of seeing and being filled with this magical beauty! Since my childhood, I have been drawn to this enchanting ancient landscape that fills me with its unique beauty. One of the streets/courtyards in the neighborhood inspired me to immortalize it in oil colors on a canvas I crafted myself. Using coarse and natural jute fabric, I built the canvas by hand, mounted it on wood, and applied several layers of gesso. I created a distinctive canvas with a meaningful texture, and here is the result before you It can be framed and hung anywhere allowing all that view it to awe at its tanquil and peaceful depiction of the city. **Please note that framing and hanging material is not included.
