About The Artwork
As a child i would see my parents and their household chores. Fragments of shapes in a washing bowl. Or toys in a box. The assortment of everyday objects replaced by artistic expressions in colours and marks. The androgyny of the painting is for the viewer to discover. The colour? Used as browns, ochres and oxides were prevalent in the days of the old masters. And the object is something in the yesteryear as digital will in time remove the wooden with the sterile.
