My oil paintings are stylistically attributable to realism, but to a certain extent also to surrealism. In addition, I have a long - term project in which I deal with the subject of painting itself: this includes all non - representational images and abstractions, with which I follow aspects of the general artistic questions - such as color and form their effect. My photography is also very complex and tied to the image possibilities that come to my camera. It is important to decide immediately whether I can make a good photo out of a certain motif - otherwise I prefer it. My photography also serves as a submission to my especially good pictures. What I paint, I often photographed myself.
