ABOUT THE ARTWORK
„Amare ” in Latin means Love. In this painting, I wanted to touch on the theme of love, which is the foundation of our lives. Love it is the living space where NOBODY has the right to tell us how and whom to love. It’s a space where there is no limit to gender, race, beliefs, views, etc. And even, as you can see in my painting, love is a superhuman force that can bind an angel to a human, even at the cost of renunciation of immortality. Especially my thanks go to two very beautiful French models; Alicia Tadrist tadrist and Karen Jgy who let me use their images, and to two great French photographers; Epixs Jeff and Piergab, the authors of the photographs of Alicia and Karen, which became the inspiration for creating the image. He graduated from the High School of Art in Rzeszow (Poland) and then studied at the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (Poland). Diploma with distinction defended in the Studio Poster with prof. P. Kunce. After studying he spent a lot of time working in the advertising industry, where he created many interesting artistic projects, many movie posters, including the poster for Andrzej Wajda's "Katyn", the director who won the Oscar. Nevertheless, acting in this industry, he turned his strong towards painting, which has long been his passion. He creates first and foremost paintings painted with acrylic paints, where he clearly evokes the inspiration of the art of the old masters, and especially the masters of the Renaissance. The main theme of his paintings is feminine nudity and an attempt to show her beauty in a way that is not always obvious, not always real. That is why surrealistic meetings of worlds far from each other in time and space are not alien to him. In the world of his painting is governed above all the unfettered imagination of the creator. His works are in many collections in Poland and abroad.
