Painting: Acrylic on cnavas.
Stretched and unframed canvas.
Style: Urban art, street art

About the art:This work was inspired to me by the migratory caravan which left Honduras for the United States with the wish to succeed in crossing the border of this country.
In this canvas I wanted to pay tribute to the courage and determination of all these people who undertook this long journey as well as that of all migrants in general, a courage often drawn from despair and the quest for happiness. , in the dream of finding a more dignified life.

I was born in Peru and from a very young age I lived to the rhythm of a country agitated by strong and continuous social, economic and political conflicts. In this context, painting became my refuge so much so that 22 years ago I immigrated to Paris with the dream of making painting my priority.
I have exhibited and sold my works in France, the United Kingdom, the United States, Brazil, Colombia and Hong Kong, among others.
My childhood and adolescence based on an unstable and unpredictable system awaken in me a search for social involvement and it is through painting in general and urban art in particular that I can give free course to this deep desire to express my voice in a world rocked by countless conflicts, great social injustices, poverty and inequality between human beings.
Today I evolve in the world of urban art because I feel fascinated by its irreverent character and its critical connotation of society.

Artist Biography – Elizabeth Roman I am a French-Peruvian artist, activist, and humanist, developing a deeply committed body of work grounded in social resonance, poetic resistance, and the raw emotion of lived experience. Through my art, I speak for those whose voices are silenced—those condemned to invisibility. I create not to escape the tragic beauty of reality, but to illuminate it. I use color to tell what many refuse to hear. My visual language is rooted in the streets, shaped by urban culture and the aesthetic power of graffiti, street art, and muralism. I draw inspiration from the works and ideologies of artists such as Banksy, JR, Shepard Fairey, and the honest pulse of the underground scene—Space Invader, and all those who resist with a spray can and a vision. Like them, I believe in truth, integrity, and the power of visual protest. Entirely self-taught, I practice figurative painting and generative art using AI as a medium—not as a shortcut, but as an extension of my creative soul. Whether on canvas or screen, each work is a labor of love and necessity, crafted over time with meticulous care and intuitive precision. I am a perfectionist, a tireless worker, and fiercely devoted to my art. Painting has become my companion on the path—it gives structure to the chaos, and purpose to my days. It has saved my mental health more than once. It gives me a reason to exist. Born in Peru, I left my country with nothing but the radical dream of becoming an artist. France became the terrain of that transformation. My journey of exile and emancipation runs through all of my work, turning scars into symbols and silence into form. My work has been exhibited and acquired internationally—in London, New York, Hong Kong, Peru, Italy, Colombia, Brazil, and Miami—and has been sold notably by Maison Rossini. My distinctive style, both tender and confrontational, delicate and unflinching, stands as a testament to art as a peaceful but powerful act of resistance. developing a deeply committed body of work rooted in social, humanist, and poetic resonance. My visual language, imbued with a raw urban aesthetic, aligns with the spirit of street art and compassionate activism. It echoes the voices of artists such as Banksy, JR, or Shepard Fairey, while asserting a unique vision—driven by a search for truth, justice, and light within shadow.
