Arctic Skies Painting

In my art practice, I am encountering what poet/scholar Jan Zwicky describes as "our actual experience of meaning, those times when our breath has been taken away, when our vision has been altered," and attempting to share those experiences and give form to a feeling, or a gestalt - an experience of a whole, expressing and celebrating not-fully-conscious processes and perceptions, I work mostly in collage and mixed media but dabble also in text and image juxtapositions and illustrative styles.
