Carlos García Cintrón was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on September 23, 1954. He completed his doctorate’s degree in Clinical Psychology in the Centro Caribeño de Estudios Post-Graduados (“Caribbean Center of Post-Graduate Studies”), now Carlos Albizu University. He begins experimenting with photography since 1979. An autodidact, he begins painting in 1996. In 2004, one of his paintings was auctioned in Christie's Paris, France. His paintings are found in private, corporative and governmental collections in Puerto Rico, United States, Europe and South America.
