Born on 3 May 1997 Georgi Nikov is an artist based in Milan, Italy. As a student from the National School of Applied Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria, he learned various techniques in the field of Advertisment and Graphic Design alongside with painting and drawing academic works. His works were exhibited to numerous cultural places in Bulgaria and Europe. In 2016 he had his first solo exhibition at the gallery of The European Commission in the city of Sofia. In which he featured eleven high-scaled artworks. In the same year he was comissoned to create twelve unique paintings from his hometown for a 2017 calendar by the German Company PM Engineering. Currently he is a BA Graphic Design & Art Direction student at Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milano. He believes coming to Italy is the best decision he made in order to follow his artistic passion. His exhibition called “ A Touch of Now and Then” represents artworks dating from the year 2015 all the way to 2018 with his very recent ones. He sees the world as canvas, a place which waits for the creator to fill it with colors. The artist depicts landscapes and cityscapes, using palette knifes and brushes with a heavy textured paint. It is not uncommon for him sometimes to create works with mixed-media techniques, such as - acrylic paint with pencil and acrylic paint and paper on canvas. 2020 Member of UBA - Union of Bulgarian Artists contact anytime at: If you are interested in my work, make sure you check my Facebook page
