The second in a series of the Caribbean. This is another aerial impression of the Caribbean seas and atolls. The vivid turquoise colours along with the reefs and sandbanks. The soft flow of the paint imitates the movement of water which has a calming affect for the viewer. The glow of the subtle god reflects the sun shinning on the water.

Crystel Dauth is an artist from South Africa originally. Crystel traveled for 20 years after studying art in Cape Town and finally settled in Plymouth UK. Crystel is heavily influenced by the elements in nature and her 12 years working on yachts in the Caribbean. The turquoise waters and bright light comes through in many of her paintings as does the fluidity of water. Crystel works with acrylics, pigments and resin to protect some of her work. Crystel is a full time artist at her studio which is open to the public.
