About The Artwork
This artwork was inspired by vintage sc-fi and the art Mondrian and the Bauhaus. The title alludes to the current political climate in which free speech is being challenged. I hope viewers will feel that the title is apt, while not being extremely overt (in its intended message). I chose the medium because this is what I generally work in, and the immediacy of acrylics allows for quick changes. I chose the style(s) because they are suggestive of Mondrian/Bauhaus, early sci-fi and abstraction.
