Aulis Painting

Randy Groden began to paint when he was young. When he was 18 years old, he made a studio in his apartment and began to copy paintings that he would see in the Dallas Fine art Museum and in the art books he would collect to learn the techniques of the masters. He also studied under a number of Fine Artists. He survived and paid his rent doing portraits and Caricatures around Dallas. Then he traveled to Nashville,TN, Cincinnati,OH, St. Louis,MO and Atlanta, GA drawing and painting to continue making a living. Over the next number of years he traveled to live and operate his own Gallery for a decade in tropical Hawaii and then moved to beautiful Bend Oregon, and Santa Fe, New Mexico. In pursuit of furthering his artistic knowledge Groden explored Lisbon, Portugal, Crete, Athens, Santorini, Mykonos, Corfu, Milos, and Rhodes Greece, Pompeii, Rome, The Vatican, Sicily, Venice, Florence, Tuscany, Milan, Naples, and Bologna, Italy, Barcelona Spain and Monaco.
