Australian Red Gum Blossom by Marta Blaszak - Are you looking for something unique and original. Something that is inspiring but not a duplicate or a commercial replica? And is still affordable? Then you have come to the right place. Australian flora always inspired my art as it is everywhere around me. For this painting I collected a bunch of these fresh gum leaves with flowers from my backyard and laid them out in front of me. This painting originaly started out as an acrylic fluid pour on a 50cm x 60cm stretched canvas. It has been protected with two layers of gloss varnish to bring out the bright colours. The painting comes with a 58cm x 68cm x 1.5cm recycled silver coloured frame. This will keep the cost down and will also help to reduce our carbon footprint. It doesn't have a mat or glass, but you can hang the artwork immediately. Paintings in this size are dynamic collectibles. Art lovers can build a collection of these medium sized pictures by theme, artist, medium or even a similar colour. Please note that artwork displayed in rooms are for the purpose of demonstration only and not always to the exact scale. Please check dimensions for actual size. I am a visual artist based in Brisbane, Australia with a Bachelor of Interior Design from the University of Arts in Berlin and a Diploma of Visual Art from Bremer TAFE at Bundamba. I am constantly improving my skills to be an accomplished artist by visiting different workshops offered by the Logan Art Gallery. As a member of Art West Community Gallery, I am able to exhibit my works through their physical Gallery. My earlier works mainly focused on still life and realism, but my latest pieces incorporate abstract fluid acrylics with traditional painting methods. Despite both styles depicting the natural world, they convey two vastly different interpretations. My earlier work is meticulous and controlled, while my current pieces celebrate the untamed and unexpected beauty of nature. In addition to my artistic endeavours, I am also exploring Acrylic Pouring and Alcohol Ink as these methods lend themself well to smaller art pieces, making them more affordable and often collectible.
