The inspiration for the painting stemmed from the captivating beauty of nature's transformation during autumn. Observing the vibrant colours and the gradual shift of trees inspired the me to capture this fleeting moment on canvas. In creating the artwork, I hoped to evoke a range of emotions and thoughts and instill a sense of nostalgia for the changing seasons, prompting reflection on the passage of time and the cyclical nature of life. The choice of medium, subject matter, and style were deliberate decisions made to effectively convey the essence of autumn. Acrylic paint, with its versatility and ability to create bold colours, was chosen to bring out the richness and vibrancy of the autumn palette.
