Artist statement: I am not an external observer — I am inside. I am is a metamodernist artist based in France. My art is born from personally experiencing a transitional state. I am an emotional visionary, creating worlds at the intersection of realities. My work is a dialogue between opposites and an exploration of the human threshold. I perceive liminality not as chaos, but as a point of inner awareness. It reflects the modern world, where old systems are collapsing and new ones have yet to take form. Humanity is suspended in-between the past and the future. It is within this void that freedom is born. Freedom is one of my core values. I see it as an inner anchor, nourished by memory, a sense of belonging, and childhood impressions. I create emotional landscapes, embodied in the materiality of color. My works are spaces of silence and stillness, balancing on the edge of dream and reality. My visual language is built on empty color planes, minimalism, and multilayered textures. I work with oil — a medium capable of conveying emotional depth. In my works I often use monochrome, considering it as a continuation of the philosophy of transition. I also turn to complementary colors, thereby emphasizing the theme of opposites and their mutual necessity on the canvas. The goal of my art is to awaken in the viewer the awareness that he is alive and free.
